The Pets Best Insurance marketing team is looking for an intern to assist mainly with their content marketing efforts (blogging, social media and public relations). The intern would also assist some with the event marketing efforts and search engine optimization (SEO).
The internship is unpaid with the potential for a paid part-time position post-internship.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with coordination, generation and execution of content marketing efforts.
-Content marketing efforts include: blogging, social media and public relations.
--Coordination, organization, editing and posting of articles and blogs.
Assist with coordination of veterinary tradeshow exhibits
-Pets Best participates in multiple tradeshows each year all over the country.
Assist with coordination of pet-related events and causes Pets Best Insurance is involved with and at times participates in.
Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) research, tracking and reporting.
Completion of intermediate level of Marketing Coursework
Excellent copy writing and editing skills
Comfortable working with Word Press blogs
Proficient in multiple social media platforms
Comfortable working with Google analytics and keyword tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Students must be pursuing a bachelors degree in Business, Communication or related field
Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited university
All students must be eligible to work in the US
All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
All students must be professional, able to follow instructions and complete tasks given
