Long-term marketing communications professional and author needs help implementing and continuing social media marketing campaign for new book title. After initial meetings and instruction, intern can work virtually with a minimum of two weekly in person, phone and/or Skype check-ins with results comparisons. Professional/author has worked with and supervised interns before and taught a public relations course at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY. Great learning opportunity. Approximately 12 hours a week. Update author website with radio and tv clips; news
Daily social media postings
Research on author opportunities, such as book fairs
Follow-up on reviews
Other tasks, as assigned


At least one year's education in or experience with social media marketing including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, Google+,, etc. and ability to learn to make website updates.
