Marketing InternBookmark This

DescriptionIn early 2014, WUNDERKID founder Denise Troy read an article regarding the unfortunate continuing rise in tuition for schools across the nation. As a teacher herself, Denise recognized a serious issue in the income inequality gap. Her love for the arts coupled with her desire to do something meaningful led her to found WUNDERKID. WUNDERKID gives a human voice to young, emerging artists. We believe that great art deserves an audience and these artists are wunderkinds in their own right. With each sale, we contribute directly to a tuition fund for that artist. We want to empower our youth and inject opportunities into the lives of students across the country.
DO GOOD, BUY ART!
Are you fascinated by all of the new social good companies emerging such as Toms and Warby Parker? Well, we are! We believe that companies need to shift their emphasis to a people before profit mentality. Wunderkid is a revolutionary online gallery that sells student artwork with proceeds directly feeding into a scholarship fund for the artist. The rising cost of college is becoming more and more unattainable for students nationwide and Wunderkid is committed to addressing this issue. We are currently pre-launch and looking for help in a variety of ways to prep us for an exciting and impactful launch. Due to the fact that we are a startup, you will have the opportunity to dabble in a myriad of different components. Say goodbye to photocopying all day---that won't happen with us.
Our ideal candidate is someone who embraces creativity and sees the importance of our mission. We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in social media and can bring creative and meaningful ideas to the table concerning marketing campaigns.
