Position Summary:
The Franklin Institute’s Marketing Department is looking for an energetic and motivated intern to assist with events, social media and administrative duties.

Event Support
Assist with setup and clean-up for on-site and off-site events. Hand-out marketing materials, gather e-mail addresses and run TFI Membership give-away raffles. Compile lists of collected e-mail addresses and write follow-up e-blasts.

Social Media
Assist with content generation, take and post photos and/or videos. Track and analyze results of campaigns.

Administrative Assistance
General office work - data entry, research projects, complimentary ticket fulfillment and small mailings
Brochure distribution - research and create distribution lists, call area organizations, mail brochures, maintain inventory

Education Requirements: Interested candidates should currently be obtaining a bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.

Special Skills Required:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong telephone skills, including cold calling
• Personal and professional experience with social media outlets

Schedule Requirements:
Minimum of 2 days a week, 9 – 5
