ResponsibilitiesIn this internship, you will have be working with the VP of Marketing and will get hands on experience from organizing marketing events and implementing marketing strategies from start to finish.
Job Title: Marketing Intern
• Search out marketing opportunities that are in line with the companies goals and objectives
• Make contact with venues and various other key people to facilitate a marketing event
• Project manage a marketing event from start to finish including brain storming on initial ideas as well as putting on the finishing touches
• Designing adds and flyers for events
• Using social media to further parlay events
• Flexible 15 to 20 hours per week. Our office is open from 8:00 to 5:00 p.m. daily. The intern may work a maximum of 160 hours during their internship
• This is an unpaid internship. However, this will be the best investment you will make in yourself if your goal is to get hands on knowledge to set you apart from other students and applicants. Our company does not guarantee employment to interns but we have hired 3 of our last 5 interns on a part-time basis and then full-time when they have completed school
• Capable of understanding marketing strategies
• Knowledge of Microsoft publisher and Microsoft office
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have professional appearance and willingness to be professional at all times
• Ability to multi- task and prioritize task
