Kerry Catherine Jewelry features an original designer collection of handcrafted, contemporary jewelry in gold, sterling silver, and platinum with precious gems, distinctive gemstones and unique pearls. Custom jewelry design and one-of-a-kind pieces are specialties. Restoration and repair, and pearl knotting and stringing are available at the current location at 4321 Lassiter at North Hills Ave. Suite 100.
Kerry Catherine Jewelry is seeking interns who are self sufficient, driven, organized and interested in the jewelry industry. All interns must have strong communication customer service skills. Candidates must be able to have some knowledge in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office. A major in marketing, design, merchandising, or any related field and an existing knowledge of luxury branding would be an advantage.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing Internship Description:
-Assist with event planning and organization
-Assist with website maintenance
-Work to further define target market
-Work with Graphic Design department in creating art for social media outlets, newsletters, etc.
-Help manage day-to-day social media engagement, content and conversation on KCJ’s social platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and other similar sites; Writing content, develop creative, initiate community-outreach efforts, execute promotions
-Assist and act as liaison to streamline web-based content among current KCJ related site content, correcting/adding/deleting site content, and monitoring all content and related issues.
Requirements-Relevant major in Design, Visual Merchandising, Branding, Computers, Marketing, and PR
-Basic or related retail experience through previous jobs, classes or related education
-Strong communication skills
-High sense of responsibility
-High energy level and enthusiastic
-Able to work well independently and help in all areas of day to day tasks
-Must be structured, organized, and detail oriented
-Self motivated with excellent written and verbal communication
