The Rosen Group’s central mission is to provide American and Canadian artists with opportunities and guidance to grow their businesses and compete in the global marketplace. The company accomplishes this mission through its trade shows, arts publications, websites, blogs, educational workshops and a non-profit trade association.

The American Made Show is the nation’s largest wholesale craft trade show. Held biannually, the show offers artists the opportunity to create long-term business relationships with more than 3,000 galleries throughout the United States and Canada. NICHE magazine is a quarterly trade publication for craft retailers. The American Made Alliance, the nonprofit arm of The Rosen Group, works with federal legislators and officials to create and enforce laws that promote, protect and preserve the American craft industry.

We see our company an economic development organization, rather than an arts organization. “What we’re really doing is helping individual artists and craft retailers succeed in business, which stimulates local, state, regional and even the national economy.

Responsibilities

Assist to marketing director with webinar production, press announcements, calendar listings, website content, outreach to arts organizations, galleries and artists. Flexible hours, free parking. Fun! We are growing and our best interns will have an advantage as we hire new employees.

Requirements

You must be independently driven to work as a team member.
You must be organized.
You must be curious about people and eager to help them.

Tasks:
Creating PowerPoint slide lecture materials with live video.
Website updates with WordPress.
Phoning media, small business owners.
Making appointments for managers.
Editing and proofreading copy.
