DescriptionAs our company evolves, we are seeking individuals to help us launch our brand identification through various specialized marketing campaigns and strategies. The Marketing Specialist Intern will support the team in cultivating overall company messaging, branding, collateral materials and promotional outreach. The Marketing Specialist Intern will also create and update our client database and attend various industry related shows and expositions. The roles of this position can be broad yet the individual will be exposed to all aspects of the organization and hundreds of people in the events industry around Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia and in areas beyond.
ResponsibilitiesIntern will also make phone calls, and conduct site visits to various venues and offices to share our print material.

RequirementsProficient in the use of various social media tools including Facebook and LinkedIn.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and database management.
Marketing, PR, or related majors are encouraged to apply.
General knowledge of childcare.
