Description is a startup based in Cambridge, MA this is run by Harvard Business School students. We have recently launched an online platform that enables restaurants and other wholesale food buyers to buy fresh, local food from farms and other local producers. We are currently looking for interns to work on our sales, marketing, and business development efforts. You will be in-charge of obtaining new customers for a particular geographic region. You will report directly to the head of marketing and the CEO. You are guaranteed to work to learn a lot and not only will you be exposed to marketing and business development but also the web-application development process. Compensation will be in cash and based on performance. Flexible hours are allowed and you can either work from home or on the HBS campus. Virtual employees will be expected to video conference with the CEO and head of marketing on a weekly basis.


- Provide research on potential and existing clients and the competitive landscape
- Managing and following up on digital marketing campaigns
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities
- Monitor news and developments relating to, or impacting, key clients/prospects
- Prepare periodic reports on screening, tracking, and monitoring clients and prospects
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities and building business plans for them


- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
- Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external clients by phone, email and face to face
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree or equivalent education
