D2N needs an intern who knows the ins and outs of Facebook, Twitter and many other social media platforms. This person must have a keen ability to write in an engaging way, communicate well with customers, potential members and coworkers, and have ideas that they are able to execute in our private and public online communities.
The Social Media Intern at D2N will be responsible for creating content, executing campaigns across platforms, managing different aspects of our social media campaigns and analyzing data to optimize community growth, engagement and conversion efforts.
Tasks will involve:
-Blog, Facebook fan page, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
-Business plan development
-Sourcing manufacturing plants and materials
-Acting as a liaison between company and prototyping companies
-Finding distribution outlets, retail stores, and trade shows
-logo, colors, website content
Responsibilities?-Create content and engage with members across social media channels.
?-Manage social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and private communities.
?-Collect data for analytics reporting .
-Plan and coordinate content from local markets, events and national campaigns.
Requirements?-Extensive knowledge of social media channels, functionality, and tech space through managing ones own online presence.
?-Ideal candidate will have experience managing the social media presence of a group/business/brand; however, this is not required.
?-Excellent written skills, especially in context of creating social media content.
?-Ability to work cross functionally with PR, Events, Marketing and Sales teams.
?-Willingness to learn, think creatively and execute quickly.
-Familiarity with web analytic tools a plus (Google Analytics, bit.ly, Facebook, Insights etc.).
