DescriptionJoin the Development Team as Feeding America Tampa Bay’s Marketing and Communication Intern! We are looking for a dynamic person eager to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing and communications. You will work within a fast-paced environment, learning how to manage various communication messages. The ideal candidate has some experience Facebook and Twitter and has a strong writing background. As the Marketing and Communication Intern, you will be responsible for strengthening social media presences via research and strategy; help create content for various social media channels and work on the Food Bank’s blog. This position is ideal for a student looking to build their resume in the fields of public relations, digital communications and marketing.
Experience in communications, online, public relations preferred;
Social media management or familiarity with HTML a plus;
Working knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, PhotoShop, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
Minimum commitment is 15 hours a week.

RequirementsPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Development team in social media strategy implementation, including scheduling of content for social media channels; and assist with reporting of content on these sites;
Assist in website maintenance; email production and testing; production and maintenance of online data collection points including donation forms, surveys and event ticket forms; and Google Analytics;
Write press releases and notify the media and Food Bank community partners;
Develop promotional materials and distribute through the Food Bank's grass roots efforts.
Support media monitoring and reporting and other various departmental needs.
