We are a small yoga studio located on the Upper West Side in New York City serving expectant and new moms, their partners, and their babies. We are looking for part-time administrative help in the area of community outreach and marketing. This position will be approximately 6-8 hours per week starting September 2012. Flexible schedule, perfect for students! Interest in yoga, the prenatal/postpartum community, marketing and small business management a big plus.


Maintenance of online listings promoting our events; assisting the coordination of giveaways and raffles in the studio and on Facebook; social media development; promotional material distribution; helping foster and cultivate reciprocal partnerships with like minded businesses in our area. Your role will somewhat depend on your skills and interests, so there is some flexibility in your position!


We are looking for someone who has a 'can-do' attitude, an approachable, friendly demeanor, and who can handle multiple tasks gracefully. Basic computer skills required. Strong interest in the new mom community strongly preferred!
