DescriptionKoupah is looking for an energetic, hard-working and driven person to execute our marketing initiatives. If you are interested in the field of marketing, public relations, social media and advertising, this is the perfect internship for you.
As a marketing intern you will help promote recent news, accomplishments and company activity across the entire social media spectrum. Such platforms will include Facebook, twitter, foursquare, tumbler, pinterest, and many more. Such key responsibilities will be to report on our achievements, come up with creative content for the positing’s as well as take pictures and videos to be shared within the social media space. Often many of these tasks will be accomplished by going into the field (Manhattan). In the field tasks will include covering our events, launches, and deployments as well as pitching to new potential clients and scouting locations for a new feature we will soon be integrating. .
This internship program requires at least 3 days a week and is an unpaid internship. If you would like to do this internship for school credit we would be happy to sign any paperwork or enroll in any school program. In order for us to see that you read the job description please mention the code word 5th Avenue. There is potential for growth and full time employment as well.
Koupah is a “Point of Social” platform that enables retailers to engage directly with their customers and build unique personal relationships. We call Koupah “Point of Social” because it is a SaaS-based Point of Sale system combined with social and mobile features. The Koupah software is easily downloaded onto any Android tablet and can quickly be integrated into a retailer's environment.
Customers simply tap or scan their phone at the Koupah and automatically their loyalty card is punched, coupons are redeemed and receipt is emailed. The cashier is able to greet customers by name, offer them their usual, and interact with through reward based challenges and other social actions. Customers can get to know the staff, see employee favorites and vote on the employee of the month.
ResponsibilitiesCreate content for postings on social media spaces
- Posting of content on social media spaces (news, pictures, videos)
- Cover events through videos, pictures and news for launches, trade shows and deployments
- Maintain company’s news section and social media sites
- Phone Calls
- Going into the field and interacting with new and potential clients
- Discovering locations throughout Manhattan for a new upcoming feature
Requirements- Proven record of working well internally and communicating with clients
- Strong understanding of popular social media spaces
- Excellent writing and grammatical skills
- Strong business acumen and professionalism
- Excellent focus and attention to detail
