NameCoach ( is looking for a creative, entrepreneurial Marketing/Business Development intern to help launch and execute an exciting marketing campaign. This is a great opportunity to gain extensive and increasingly valuable online marketing and sales experience, business development experience, advertising experience, and take on responsibilities/titles that are unique to the ground-floor of a small Silicon Valley start-up.

NameCoach ( is a new Silicon Valley start-up led by a small team of Stanford students, as part of the Stanford Venture Studios. It's vision is unique: solve a single, niche problem, and expand fully into all relevant markets. NameCoach allows individuals to voice-record their names online so that announcers and players in a variety of important settings - graduation ceremonies, wedding receptions, sports announcing, radio announcing, diplomatic settings, international business settings, conferences, etc - know how to say these names correctly. We are in a continuous DevOps cycle with our product, have received rave reviews on our initial release, and aim to quickly scale up our presence - especially in the educational market.

The Marketing/Business Development intern will execute an email, phone, press, and online marketing/sales/advertising campaign to promote the service. The focus will largely be on the educational market. Specific tasks will be determined in collaboration with the CEO and Marketing Manager, but there is much flexibility to take initiative and develop your own marketing/sales/development vision. This internship will be especially rewarding to those with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoy taking initiative and increasing responsibility.
- Hours are flexible
- Majority of work can be done remotely, but some in-person meetings at the Stanford Venture Studios are preferred.

This is an unpaid internship, part-time or full-time. The standard duration will be12 weeks (but flexible), starting as soon as possible.


- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
