ResponsibilitiesHelping to create, moderate and generate exposure for the mobile application
Contributing to marketing brainstorming sessions
Create a dialogue with the target market
Approaching bloggers and newspapers for PR purposes
Must be able to work unsupervised for the majority of time and show detailed progress of your work, (please note this internship is F/T although mainly remote.)
RequirementsStrong interpersonal, analytic and communication skills
Creative marketing techniques and more ideas on exposure techniques
Large network(preferably over 1.5K FB friends, over 100+ Twitter followers) a plus is it is in multiple segments such as geographic, age, gender, etc...
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; attention to detail
Positive attitude; team player
Strong social media skills, Facebook Page use, Twitter, StumbleUpon, etc...
Open to Sophomore, Junior or Senior students
Students pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Communications, and Business are preferred, but opportunity is open to all majors.
Being a blogger or connections to bloggers in the tech/mobile/app/safety atmosphere a +.
Also passionate about reducing crime! MAJOR +!
Must be CREATIVE and able to follow directions. We are looking for fresh ideas, enticing tweets, building a dialogue and starting a community. Our app is very successful with 5 star ratings and lots of press but we need it to go viral and we can do so with your exposure and help.
