DescriptionWe are United Business Development Experts, a business development firm in search of interns. We work hand in hand with different companies to increase their sales via marketing, public relations, corporate events, and sales coaching. You will be mostly working with Miss Modesty- our fashion, arts, travel & entertainment division.
We have an immediate opening for 3 interns. We are looking for flexible, creative, responsible, personable, motivated, hard working and organized individuals. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Our clients are from a myriad of different fields. One day we might be working with a custom home builder, the next with the launch of a fashion designer's spring line. Our common thread is luxury clientele. Since we work with so many different fields within this common thread, the open intern positions may be best suited for candidates that are still trying to decide what specialty or niche market they would like to focus on. This opportunity will definitely give them a very well rounded experience.
Work hours are very flexible. We like to run our business with a goal oriented perspective, not a "9 to 5 time clock." Although we have physical offices, work location is also very flexible, since 90% of our work preparation is done online. Rest assured that interns will have 24/7 access to their mentor regardless of time or work location.
What is of the utmost importance is confidentiality and privacy. Interns may have access to privileged information for both our clients and our company that must always remain confidential.
Our fashion, arts, travel, food and lifestyle division is Miss Modesty (www.MissModesty.net). We are working with several boutiques and fashion lines in order to increase their sales through marketing, advertising, public relations and events. Our overall goal is brand awareness. This includes fashion shows, ad campaigns, trend shows, photoshoots, visual merchandising, social media (includes blog). (NOTE- We are also in the thought process of putting together a Travel Agent conference in Miami, tentatively for early August 2015.)
We've been asked to work with Carnaval on the Mile and Calle Ocho via Miss Modesty as well. We will be responsible for interviewing different artists and reporting on the events.
We are also currently working on our Mom's Night Out event (www.EventsForMoms.com). We need assistance in managing the event, guest list and media. We have several magazines that are confirmed as well as VIP guests. We also have a magazine we publish in conjunction: South Florida Moms magazine. This includes marketing, advertising and publicity for these events, as well as follow ups.
