The objective of a 3 month unpaid internship in central NJ/NYC would be to provide intern with the experience of
1) industry research
2) understanding effective social marketing strategies
3) implementing the framework for effective social marketing strategy
4) tracking and validating the progress

The internship will provide intern with an opportunity to gain valuable industry experience by working directly with the company's chief executive & co-founder (seasoned software technology entrepreneur). The company may consider extending a full time offer once internship is completed to qualified candidates if open position is available. The internship does not constitute employment with the company. The intern is not entitled to wages for the time spent in the internship. Intern would be able to work under the supervision of OTW staff and independently. Expected number of hours weekly: 15. Most activities may be done remotely via telecommuting. Once-a-week in-person training/review meeting is recommended. OTW may assist the intern with getting the college credit for unpaid internship where applicable and appropriate.

Responsibilities

50% Industry research & analysis (using available tools & online)
10% Strategy (identifying the optimal tool/activity list to meet business objectives)
30% Implementation (the tactical activities needed to implement an effective strategy)
10% Monitoring, assessment, & adjustment (validating & adjusting the effectiveness of activities)

Requirements

Majoring in Marketing/Entrepreneurship/English
Familiar with the latest social technologies
Fun, creative, curious
Fantastic attention to detail
