OrganicRestaurants.com is seeking a smart, motivated Social Media & Community Management Intern. We’re an early-stage web startup based in Boston with free parking or minutes off the blue line or a bus that stops at our building. This role will give you significant exposure to the inner workings of a true startup. You’ll work closely with our founder and rest of the marketing and web development team to help refine our Internet presence which has a global presence. Plus we have plenty of free organic coffee!

Responsibilities

· Work 15-30 hours per week from our office in Boston with free parking and or minutes from the blue line or a bus stop in the front of our building from Haymarket.
· Use social media to discover, listen and engage
· Contribute to the content that appears on the OrganicRestaurants website and Blog
· Monitor Social media to discover and analyze what’s being said and who’s saying it in our industry
· Research and identify key influencers and community members
· Evangelize OrganicRestaurants.com to the user community and gather community input, both online and in real life
· Assist in managing our listings/restaurant outreach and
· Dive into the organic community in Boston (events and demos and networking)
· Coordinates online marketing and advertising campaigns
· Collaborates with internal team members on projects and assignments

Requirements

- Possesses skills in writing, posts, staying connected via social media channels and social media management
- Performs well in environment that values creativity, flexibility, and variety
- Exhibits personal qualities, such as open-mindedness, enthusiasm, and adaptability
- Prefers challenges, fast pace, new ideas, future focus, and unstructured environment
