Seeking an energetic, detail-oriented student looking to have hands on experience with a growing digital marketing company. Assist in the coordination and creation of all marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts for several fast growing small-medium sized companies and clients.


GOAL OF INTERNSHIP:
To provide a beneficial experience for a college student that is studying graphic design and marketing or social media marketing through daily operations and projects that directly affect the company in a positive way.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to:
Assists and follows direction from the Marketing and Media Specialist.
Assists in updating websites and affiliated Facebook/LinkedIn/Google Plus/Twitter pages.
Assists in engaging in social media marketing efforts.
Assists in research and content writing of Blogs.
Assists in creating marketing copy for direct mail, e-newsletters, website and other materials.
Assists in monitoring SEO within company websites.
Assists in creating monthly or bi-monthly e-newsletters and/or e-blasts.
Assists in the design of advertising and print based materials for direct mail, brochures, billboards and other print media advertising.
Assists in content management of all websites.
Assists in search and maintaining of Lead Generation campaigns.
Assists in monitoring our competitors.
Assists in submitting events to local newspapers, radio and TV stations.
Assists in writing of press releases.
Assists in photo manipulation/graphic design for both web and printed media.
Maintains good public relations and interacts with clients, customers, and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.

Requirements

Knowledge: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Currently in study for at least one year or recently finished for a degree that relates to the field of marketing.

Skills: Pass Microsoft Word 2010 User Testing with a 85% or higher score. Pass Microsoft Outlook 2003 with a 70% or higher score. Type with accuracy and speed 50+ wpm Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite helpful
