Description

Law Street Media is a web-based media startup focusing on the law and public policy. Our
company strives to be the main source of legal and policy news for the next generation of
lawyers, law students, and those interested in the changing nature of the legal industry. With a
focus on breaking legal development, industry news, topical reports, and special interest blogs,
Law Street is at the forefront of the industry. We are on the verge of launching our website,
www.lawstreetmedia.com, and we are recruiting entrepreneurial, creative talent to join our
team.
Law Street’s founder is the author and publisher John A. Jenkins. John’s extensive journalistic
experience includes notable contributions to The New York Times Magazine, GQ Magazine in
the UK and the US, and CQ Press as its president and publisher. His new book, The Partisan:
The Life of William Rehnquist, is an Editor’s Choice of The New York Times Book Review. Learn

Law Street Media maintains offices in Washington and New York. The social media marketing
interns will be based out of the New York office.
A daily $25 stipend will be provided.

Responsibilities

You will gain experience in the development and management of social media accounts; expansion of social media audiences; brainstorming and creating fresh social media campaigns; monitoring and analyzing the impact of social media campaigns using Google tools; and developing and expanding the company newsletter. The successful candidate will get hands-on, ground-level experience working in a true start up environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated with experience in a fast-paced, highimpact professional environment. Experience with all the top social media tools is a must. Interest in law, policy, and current events, and a creative, entrepreneurial spirit are key desired characteristics. Internships open to college, graduate, and law students.
