DescriptionFiturgy is the virtual trainer platform that revolutionizes the way fitness professionals connect and interact with their clients. We are launching an exciting online platform and mobile application which provides access to a full repertoire of health and fitness resources; all in one place. By leveraging technology, we are committed to making the fitness world more interconnected and solving the many problems faced by both fitness professionals and fitness enthusiasts, including: lack of connectivity, lack of knowledge, and lack of organization.
We are looking for a student, preferably with a marketing or public relations/communications background, to assist with the development and integration of social media into marketing activities. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive brand image by building a presence on all popular social media outlets, including social blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and Google +. The position is open anywhere between 10-20 hours per week, depending on your current course load and how efficiently you can manage responsibilities.

Market Research to stay engaged with current trends in the fitness and technology industry
Managing social media activity on various portals including blog, Facebook, Twitter and Google +
Developing creative social media campaigns
Driving posts and building social media followers
Assisting in development of programs and strategies to build online/offline awareness and engagement
Currently enrolled in a college or university or recent graduate with a degree or background focused in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Google Analytics experience is encouraged
Strong editing, email, and verbal skills
Knowledge of mass media
