DescriptionPossibility: TRACS, Inc. is seeking 2 sports marketing and event management interns for Winter of 2014 to work directly with the TRACS team.

The TRACS Team has managed & promoted athletic events in 47 global cities with events ranging from 50 convention attendees to over 14,000 spectators at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. In the past two years, the TRACS team has managed events in Dubai, Boston, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Berlin, Dublin, Sydney and Hong Kong. As a reflection of the quality this work, the TRACS team received the Bronze Medal for the 2012 Best Hybrid Event by EXPO Magazine's E.X.C.I.T.E. Awards.
In 2014, the TRACS team will managed projects in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Orlando and Vienna, Austria.
TRACS is interested in organized, resourceful, and detail oriented candidates with a variety of skills, including writing, marketing, communication, and computing capabilities. Joining the TRACS team will allow the intern to gain hands-on experience in the sports marketing and events planning industries through organizing sporting events, developing budgets, formulating and sending press releases, and creating strategic marketing plans and sponsorship packages.
The sports marketing and event management intern will assist with the planning and organization phases of TRACS 2014 events. Interns will be involved with specific projects and help with strategic marketing and sponsorship package development, public outreach, media research and summaries, travel and vendor research, itinerary development, budget and statement of work development, business development research, and writing press releases.
