Description

Explorer Chick Adventure Co. is in need of an intern. We are a small, Cincinnnati local start up that produces Adventure & Fitness retreats for women. We also produce custom travel for teams, groups, corporate, and Fitness Studios.

We are looking for a person to assist with our Social Media as well as some other minor tasks. Tasks will include researching, blogging, social media marketing, etc.

Position is a part-time and non-paid.

Responsibilities

About the position:
We are a small start-up that is in need of help to expand and grow. It is an unique opportunity to be part of a company from the very beginning. You will wear many different hats, and be given a variety of projects. The learning potential is endless. Your ideas will be welcomed. We will be focused on expanding our market outreach and building our 2016 calendar. Tasks will include anything from blogging, implementing/developing a social media strategy, creating market data bases, writing mass emails, setting appointments, researching, Plenty of opportunity to gain critical experience all while having fun.

Requirements

Qualifications:
You will be working from home, but will have regular meetings with me either in person, over the phone, or Skype. It is imperative that you are self-motivated and can work in a variety of environments.
• Must be able to be given a task and complete it effectively in a timely manner or by a deadline. Follow directions.
• Excellent writing skills with a sense of humor. Blog experience is a plus.
• Efficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
• Computer Savvy (ie. Pick up on unfamiliar programs easily)
• Understand and use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest
• Must have access to the internet and own computer
• Must be an effective communicator

If your resume is accepted, I will follow up with a skills test for you to complete. Upon successful completion of the test, we will schedule an interview.
