Description

Marie Holmes Photography is a boutique portrait studio based in Austin Texas. We specialize in family and child portraiture, with a focus on tangible portrait art. Right now, we are currently looking for an intern to assist with writing blog posts as well as monitoring, posting and engaging our business pages across several social media platforms with interesting content.



Responsibilities

*Writing 2 themed blog posts per week. Topics will be provided.
*Posting to our business social media pages at least 2x per day/5 days per week and engaging with the fans regularly.
*Providing an overview of Analytics each week.

Your goals are to cultivate a following by finding new ways to market and grow a fan base across all social media platforms.

These strategies and activities will allow you to become expert in social media best practices while staying abreast of changes to all the social media platforms used.



Requirements

• Moderate knowledge of social platforms
• Must be resourceful
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, copy-editing and proof-reading skills required
• Ambitious, self-starter who is comfortable working independently or with a team when needed
• Exceptional organizational skills a MUST
• Major or minor preferably in Photography, Photojournalism, Marketing, Journalism or Communications
• Knowledge in Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Wordpress, Instagram
