DescriptionI sit on the board of a nonprofit (185 for Heroes, http://www.185forheroes.org) as the Director of Public Relations and need an intern/assistant to help with daily and weekly execution of social media and public relations. The position responsibilities would include sending me 3-4 possible daily posts to FB/Twitter every other day or X amount of times a week, helping draft press and news releases, and assisting in social media strategy. The position would require roughly 5-8 hours a weeks (maximum depending on your efficiency).
The position will be unpaid, however I am willing to sign and credit any University requirements for college credit. More importantly, this is an opportunity to get hands on experience in social media and nonprofit marketing. I would be willing to help in your own professional development/career goals, resume review, etc. as well. Great resume booster and summer internship!
