ResponsibilitiesMonitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube and more
• Website and social media optimization
• Students applying for this internship should be studying Marketing/Business/Graphics/Communications/Journalism/English. Candidates must be currently enrolled in college i.e. receiving college credit, have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Managing social media posting schedules and creating content
Designing visual content with Photoshop
Staying current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to PR and social media
Creating social media monitoring reports
This is a learning environment; we don't expect you to know everything! Applicants with prior educational and/or work experience in business writing are preferred, but WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and willing to learn.
If you work remotely: Internet connection, your own computer, Skype, and phone.
If you come into the office: Business professional attire
Immediately! Approximately 15 hours a week for 20 weeks; we are flexible and your internship is negotiable. We will work with you.
