DescriptionKitchology is the first and only mobile platform that matches your profile to who you are cooking for. Kitchology is an advanced digital platform that incorporates machine learning software to nutrition science, behavioral analysis, profiling, and social curation. The first release of the app has been approved by Apple is integrated seamlessly with our blog. Since 2013, Kitchology has built a community connecting with consumers who care about special diets. Our blog traffic is approximately 200k views per month and our social channels are about the same.
Kitchology is a startup with a small team looking for motivated interns who appreciate food and cooking first and most importantly enjoy creating content. Inbound marketing is a big part of what we do surrounding social marketing activities that bring visitors in to our blog now our app.
Participants are expected to work at least 5 - 10 hours a week, depending on current project demand. This position does not require hours to be fulfilled at our Germantown offices. Work can be done at home/dorm rooms that fits your schedule. This is a great learning experience to carry you to your next big opportunity. While we prefer, a recent graduate or someone that is junior or senior in the field of marketing and communications, digital media or related to even nutritionists, or food scientists with good writing and editing skill sets are all game.
Responsibilities• Assist with execution of inbound marketing strategies including content generation, content schedules along with using social media platforms.
• Create content such as social media messages and emails.
• Learn and use inbound marketing software and other digital tools.
• Brainstorm new ideas and opportunities for Kitchology success.

• Self-taught learner willing to read and keep up-to-date on technological changes and how they could be used by Kitchology
