DescriptionRuckus Pizza, Pasta, & Spirits is seeking 2 interns to assist the brand manager in developing and maintaining the branding strategy.
Hi, I'm Beverly and I am the brand manager at Ruckus Pizza, Pasta, and Spirits. We are a lifestyle brand who aims to bring great food to an even greater community. Ruckus opened the doors of it's first location in 1998. In 2008 we expanded to a full restaurant location and has since then been expanding at a rapid pace. There are currently 4 open Ruckus locations in Cary, Morrisville, and Raleigh. Apex will be opening in May 2016 and Location 6 will be opening at the end of 2016.
As an intern you will primarily be working one on one with me and the Ruckus owners. This is a great chance to gain real experienced and the unique chance to be use your own creativity to show off in your portfolio.
Scheduling is extremely flexible as a good bit of this internship is done online. Face to face assignments and meetings are usually in the evenings or on weekends.
Our aim is for 5-10 hours a week but we can tailor it to fit your needs and program requirements. Again, the schedule is very flexible.
The main benefit of this internship is to build your portfolio and meet course requirements.
However we will give you a small stipend and gift cards to our locations as compensation. There will be no hourly pay, just a small stipend.

ResponsibilitiesAs a marketing intern, you will be working very closely with me and have a chance gain experience by really working with the development of the strategy.
Your ideas and thoughts will be highly valued in this tight knit team.
My interns will be doing everything from content creation to lead hunting to finding new ways to digitally market a brand who really cares.
You won't be fetching my coffee, you'll another perspective and insight on the community and have the chance to grow as a professional and hone your skills as a marketer.
Tasks will include:
Social listening and reporting.
Creating content under my direction
Helping come up with content ideas
Attending events to collect content and being our street team
Assisting with things like photoshoots/video shoots when needed.
Running contests on social media
Recommendation letter from a professor of business, marketing, or similar (Will be requested if selected for interview)
Currently pursuing a degree/career in marketing or similar
Strong verbal and written communication
Proficiency using GoogleDrive and Hootsuite
Being self motivated, creative, and solution oriented
A love for the community and passion for marketing.
A great attitude and sense of humor.
A love for good food.
You are here to learn, but I strongly prefer you have knowledge two of the following:
Social listening skills
