ResponsibilitiesYour knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade small to mid-size businesses to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies to meet their clients’ needs. Working with small to mid-size businesses, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can help their business’ reach thousands of users. Provide strategic advice and help small to mid-size businesses get the best ROI on their business’ advertising investment by working closely with them in a consultative role. Consistently deliver against assigned quota, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer sales experience to clients. Implement creative ways to improve our clients’ relationships, tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions, and up sell or promote other Google products. Communicate with small to mid-size proactively, via phone, email, and video conference.
RequirementsBA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience in sales or marketing with a proven record of achieving sales goals.
Must be technically advanced with expertise in cloud-based services, social media, computers, mobile devices, and more importantly, how they all work together. Unbeatable communication skills, both oral and written. Approach solutions to complex challenges with an analytical and creative mindset. Positive client-facing attitude for trouble-shooting and timely resolution. Experience in an advertising sales, business development, and/or online media
environment. College coursework in business, communications, or marketing principles. Familiarity with Google AdWords and online advertising. Knowledge of traditional and digital media and its competitive landscape. Understanding of unique challenges that small businesses face in marketing online.
