DescriptionThe Digital Marketing Specialist leads and is the gate keeper of Plastics Division’s digital communication channels following established policies & procedures. He/She brings specialized knowledge and skills to the application and integration of all digital communications channels.
•Creates, develops and manage Plastics’ digital communications strategy based on strategic business requirements.
•Suggests and develops digital promotions for appropriate media outlets and applications.
•Ensures Plastics active presence on preferred digital communication channels (Websites, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube).
•Manages Plastics’ digital communication’s analytics activity performance Reports.
•Monitors performance and suggests tools that can identify areas for improvement, suggests corrective actions and deploys changes.
•Works alongside Plastics’ Marketing Managers group and DS Smith digital team on continuous improvements to Plastics’ digital marketing channels.
•Manages digital communications requests as required on a project by project basis.
•Ensures that external messages follows established guidelines, policies and assure that messages are consistent.
•Coordinates press release distribution, editorials, company website content, graphics, and promotions.
•Creates, develops and manage Plastics’ internal communications strategy in an integrated communications approach.
•Gate keeper of internal communication channels (Plexus, Inside Plastics, ECS, etc.) for company events/updates, articles of internal interest, etc.
•Project manages Plastics’ Editorial Calendar. Including posting ready to published content, sends to translations, etc.
Requirements• Content for Inbound Marketing > HubSpot (Certification a plus)
• SEO (search engine optimization specialist or marketer)
o Raven tools – analyze relevancy of content
o Google Analytics, trends, keywords
o Webmaster tools (Search Console to create and monitor content that delivers visually engaging search results)
• SEM (Marketing) > AdWords, PPC, etc.
• Social Media
• Other experience requirements or knowledge in:
o HTML – some knowledge
o E-mail marketing
• Basic Design, production
• Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, illustrator)
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, minor/specialize in digital marketing
