Description

The Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) is the largest traveling African Diasporic art show in the United States, which was founded in 2009. Through its cultural nutrition, HFAS creates economic empowerment, educational opportunities, and professional recognition within the multi-cultural community.

Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, the Harlem Fine Arts Show provides a platform for African Diaspora descendants and African American visual artists to exhibit their works and be celebrated. HFAS recently expanded into new markets including Atlanta and Chicago. Since we are a growing organization, we are looking for hardworking and dedicated interns.

Responsibilities

The position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with administrative tasks
• Assist with writing and editing proposals
• Assist with event planning
• Assist with email marketing
• Complete at least 5 hours a week in the Harlem Fine Arts Show office

Requirements

Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Power-Point, Excel) and the Harlem Fine Arts Show.
