If this is you so far, keep reading! The Advertising Account Executive is responsible for daily contact between the agency and one or more client accounts. The Advertising Account Executive interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through on behalf of the client. This includes meeting with the creative department concerning creative issues and input, the media department concerning media issues, the interactive department concerning interactive projects, and the production manager concerning scheduling and timing.
The Advertising Account Executive has major input in developing strategic marketing plans for their clients. After plans are developed and presented to clients, the Advertising Account Executive is responsible for carrying out the plan on a daily basis.
The Advertising Account Executive is also responsible for gaining new business from existing clients and helping to achieve revenue goals of accounts.
Lastly, we are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
-College degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related field is preferred
-Several years of customer service experience required
-Keen proofing skills
-Good presentation skills
-Great verbal and written skills
-A high level of attention-to-detail and accuracy
-Eager to participate in brainstorming and creative processes
-Confident but not afraid to ask questions
