Description

Luxury bridal accessory company seeks interns for our production studio. The Original Runner Company in Montclair, NJ creates the world's first non-slip fabric aisle runners for weddings and special events. We have a large celebrity clientele and ship our products worldwide. Most of our products are completely custom made and require talented studio and production interns to help with our projects. We are a small company seeking real team players who want to learn and grow while working alongside our talented team. The three available internships are very hands-on and are perfect for candidates who want to get their hands dirty in our studio by learning while doing.

We are based in Montclair, ideally located near the Garden State Parkway, Route 3 and one block from the Walnut Street NJ Transit train. We pride ourselves on having a fun, casual and happy work environment. You must love dogs since we have one running around sometimes.

Compensation:
Our internships are unpaid but we do offer a small cash stipend at the end of your time with us as a thank you for your hard work. Class credit is always available too. These positions are perfect for building your resume and possibly becoming fully employed with us after graduation as well.
No evening or weekend work required.

Responsibilities

-Develop social media strategies and work on our social media accounts
-Write blog posts
-Work directly with our design consultants and artists on client projects
-Assist in developing marketing materials to attract new clients
-Maintain client relationships through our CRM tool
-Customer service via email and phone calls
-Place orders and process payment
-Retrieving client files and filing
-Production schedule maintenance
-Answering phones when necessary

Requirements

Ideal for a Logistics, Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management majors
Our main qualification is a real can-do attitude and lots of initiative.
