ResponsibilitiesThe social event planner intern is responsible for planning, designing, and producing events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits. Identify client needs and ensure satisfaction. Conduct market research and gather information. Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality. Organize facilities and manage event details such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc. Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations. Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event. Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day. Conduct pre and post event evaluations and report outcomes. Identify event opportunities and generate interest. Provide feedback and periodic report to sponsors and participants.
RequirementsStrong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Sales skills ability to build productive business relationships
Must be a enrolled in college, or recent graduate
Major in Entrepreneurship, Business, or related field
Minimum GPA of 2.5 preferred
