Always be on the alert for potentially fraudulent job postings online - never send money to a potential employer.
DescriptionLooking for a Business Economics/Marketing student who's interested in the education field and socially-conscious agendas.
Overview of RespectfulSignage.com: --- We are an e-commerce business re-building our brand into "Respectful Ways" ~> a community of educators, parents and students working to build Respect and Bully-Awareness at schools and businesses. Our main target markets are school systems and communities needing help in Character Education and cyber-bully and bully awareness. You will be involved in 1) social media marketing, 2) brand-building for the re-launch of Respectful Ways via a new state-of-the-art marketing software, 3) weebly website development, 4) e-newsletter writing and design, 5) product development, 6) sales pitch experience, and 7) business analysis if you're interested. You let us know what experience you're looking for in an internship and we'll make it happen.
We have a secondary target market of business owners of brick-and-mortar buildings needing to establish policy and rules, respectfully. We offer an alternative from the usual "Not Allowed Here" policy signs.
We offer interns paid attendance to Small Business Development events, start-up events, entrepreneurial "How-To" events, conventions, and conferences. We vend our products on and off all year long at different conferences and offer pay and paid travel if needed.
You must have an interest in social media marketing and socially responsible passion projects. We often react to the news of the day. If a breaking news story goes viral and we can respond with Respectful Signage, we jump on the story with blog responses, social media reaction, phone calls, pitches to the proper authorities, etc. It makes for an exciting day!
Pursue sales leads during the summer months to debut merchandise and workshops for October which is Bullying Prevention Month and Dignity & Respect Month.
Our business is conveniently located a mile outside I-285 in Tucker, Georgia, if you're within a 10 miles radius, an automobile is not necessary. We can pick you up and drop you off at home or on campus if needed.
ResponsibilitiesEvery day is different! We respond to viral videos and breaking news if our brand has an answer. For example, we may pursue the Superintendent of a school system where a student just committed suicide due to bullying. We'll pitch our "Respectful Sessions" workshops and webinars, and "Respectful Reminders" positive signage so their school and extended community knows the school system has properly responded to such a tragedy.
Social media marketing is key, we'll set up memes and post logical articles. Utilize twitter to connect with famous actors and musicians with like-minded programs.
Sales! Pursue logical organizations, schools or businesses who need Respectful Ways workshops and signage.
Our relaunch includes a website redesign on weebly, which you can help with if you're interested in website development.
Our Respectful Sessions public workshops include power point presentations and public speaking experience.
Research of stories on-line for a multi-author book planned for late 2016.
Blog writing. If you're interested in story-telling, tell it!
Work with a template to build media kits.
RequirementsThis will be an internship for school credit or business development experience. If you're interested in entrepreneurship and launching a brand, this internship is for you. We are utilizing one of the best Public Relation firms in the metro-Atlanta area for our re-launch, so you'll be learning from the best.
