is an importer, wholesaler & distributor of wines from around the world for over 20 years. We carry products from all levels and price ranges, with a concentration/focus on Asian products. We are seeking Marketing Sales Representatives in the following areas: New York City & surrounding areas like New Jersey.
Candidates for the Internship marketing sales positions will learn about the working knowledge aka in/outs of the wine/liquor market (on and off premise) as well as to have knowledge of the accounts in his/her territory. As a Sales marketing Representative, you would be taking over already established accounts with an emphasis on further territory/account development.
Below is a list off what you will learn and expect.
Make regular sales calls to designated accounts to cultivate customer relations and satisfaction with service provided.
Develop strategy for brand portfolio, diversification and penetration in each account.
Demonstrate consultative sales abilities through successful presentations of product, the promotion of new and existing portfolio items and the expansion of business.
Exhibit discipline and resourcefulness to meet/exceed assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives.
Review customers' credit status, collect monies owed for product and partner with Customer Service Department to ensure accounts remain in good standing.
Conduct wait staff training seminars, execute bar night' promotions and install point of sale pieces on tables and bars.
Recommend create/design drink menus, wine lists and wine by the glass programs utilizing full knowledge of Golden Eagle portfolios.
Present self with integrity professionalism and commitment to Golden Eagle sales representative responsibilities and policies.
Available for ride-with with Golden Eagle management and work-with for suppliers.
ResponsibilitiesDay to Day tasks
-Make regular sales calls to designated accounts to cultivate customer relations and satisfaction with service provided.
-Maintaining existing accounts & relationships.
-Developing new accounts and territories.
-Presenting new products.
-Conducting wine/liquor tastings if need be.
-Merchandising of products & point of sales material.
High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of industry related marketing sales experience within the distribution, retail stores, hospitality or supplier community etc.
Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Lift and carry a 10+ pound case of product.
MUST BE AT LEAST 21 years of age!
Goal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.
