Description

In A Heartbeat is a start-up 501 (c) (3) non-profit foundation. It was founded in 2015. The web site is www.inaheartbeat.org. Our mission is to raise money to buy and donate Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and also to raise money for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) research. We are looking for an intern to assist with our marketing. We need someone to control our social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) as well as manage our web site. You will be responsible for researching other survivors/organizations similar to ours/as well as news stories to post. We are looking for someone who is creative and who will post daily to our accounts and acquire more followers and visitors to our pages. You will also be in charge of marketing our events. We have our first big event (a golf tournament) on September 27 so this will be the main focus in September. Following the golf tournament you will be responsible for marketing our winter events as well as continuing to grow our social media and web pages. This internship will be primarily virtual as you will be working through your phone and computer. There will be occasional meetings with our President, Mike Papale as well as with our Board of Directors.
