Description

Advertising on the Internet is quickly overtaking traditional advertising channels such as TV, Radio, Print and Outdoor. This internship offers the student the opportunity to work along-side a Google Certified Partner in the day-to-day online marketing tasks for clients of our well-established local marketing agency.

The student will be exposed to all aspects of advertising a company online through the utilization of Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Display Advertising, Video Advertising, Social Media Marketing and e-mail marketing. The successful candidate will work towards attaining Google Certifications in either Google Adwords Search, Display, Video or in Google Analytics. These certifications are valid for one-to-two years from the time of exam and can be very helpful to the student in future job searches in this industry.

The ideal student candidate will be working towards a degree in marketing, advertising or communications; and will be proficient with document editors like Microsoft Word, spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel and presentation programs like Microsoft Powerpoint.

This is an unpaid, for college credit internship available to eligible, local college juniors and seniors with strong preference given to those candidates who wish to remain in the local area. Brockett Creative Group will work closely with your school in order to fulfill requirements to achieve academic credits for this internship.
