The marketing department at Ace of Spades, a Live Nation music venue, is seeking Fall Brand Marketing interns to join our Brand Ambassador (BA) program, which is our department’s official internship program.
As a Brand Marketing BA, you will be given the opportunity to learn, collaborate and have hands on experience with the following:
Execute show marketing plans
Pitch + curate third party partnerships with student organizations, Greek Life, and Sac influencers and events
Execute street team initiatives
Pitch and implement digital marketing initiatives including social media and more
Pitch + curate relationships with local radio stations and publications on and off campus
Create brand activation experiences + promotional campaigns
Pitch marketing strategies and design proposals including all logistical information
Work on and off site events
Administrative support such as
Assist with buying & trafficking digital advertising
Assist with creating, proofing, and ordering of in venue assets
Report to the Ace of Spades Marketing Manager

Requirements

Skills and Requirements:
Dedicate 15-20 hours per week
Some Brand Ambassadors will have in office hours with field responsibilities,
while others will work completely in the field with opportunities to work at the venue
This position will still require 15-20 hours per week whether you are in office or in the field
Note: This is an unpaid internship position
Must have a biological need to create from the ground up
A right and left brain; must possess the ability to create the vision for innovative brand
marketing strategies, but also understands how to logistically execute them
Reliable and ability to meet deadlines on a weekly basis
Thorough communicator under all circumstances and very responsive to e-mails
Ability to follow direction, but must also be proactive and take initiative
Strongly involved and connected to your campus and the Sacramento area
Strong knowledge of the demographic and landscape of your campus and the Sacramento area
Excellent networking skills and the ability to create meaningful connections
Reliable transportation: train, bus, or car access (weekly flyer/poster pick-ups + going to
events)
