Visit Baltimore has an opening for a marketing and communications intern in Spring 2016. Responsibilities include assisting the Visit Baltimore marketing and communications department with the research and implementation of public relations, social media, public affairs and marketing initiatives for the bureau. Activities may include brainstorming sessions; creation of press materials; drafting social media posts, execution of media relations programs, organization of public relations clips, special events planning and more.
Upon completion of the internship at Visit Baltimore, each student will leave with valuable “real world” experience in a fast-paced setting, written pieces for their portfolios, and a variety of professional skills and accomplishments to add to their resumes. Interns will also gain experience in various areas of marketing, including public relations, social media and public affairs.
