The Marketing and Community Outreach Intern is responsible for increasing awareness of because I said I would Denver chapter and community participation in local chapter programs. Position is remote and hours are flexible.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Marketing and Community Outreach intern you will:
Foster relationships and create partnerships in Denver area to recruit because I said I would Denver chapter members.
Utilize knowledge of Denver community to increase awareness of because I said I would Denver chapter
Develop and implement new marketing and social media campaign from the ground up, with the goal of increasing local chapter meeting participation.
Partner with because I said I would Headquarters in researching how to better reach certain market segments and determining specific events to be present at to promote because I said I would Denver chapter.

RequirementsRecent college graduate or upper level college student that is studying marketing, business, public relations, nonprofit management or a related field.
Proven leadership thru involvement in at least on extracurricular or volunteer activity
Must be based in Denver, Colorado and able to attend monthly chapter meetings
Effective storytelling skills to recruit supporters.
Able to take on multiple projects, work independently and manage time to meet deadlines,
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
Have a strong local network
