DescriptionNortheast Baseball camps is in an immediate need of interns starting ASAP. Opportunities for the Fall of 2016 are available. The Intern will report directly to the management of the organization and will receive hands on experience with helping the organization boost its camp enrollment. The intern will be responsible for assisting the overall marketing campaign of the organization which includes it's social media strategy as well as it's e-mail marketing strategy. Interns must be able to commute to Waterbury, CT
The Intern will report directly to the management of the organization and will receive hands on experience with helping the organization boost its camp enrollment. The intern will be responsible for assisting the overall marketing campaign of the organization which includes the following
E-mail Marketing - The intern will be responsible for collecting and adding potential customers to the e-mail database. In addition they will work with management in creating weekly e-mails to be sent out to subscribers of the e-mail campaign. The e-mails will highlight, promote, and showcase upcoming camp events.
Social Media Marketing – The intern will be responsible for promoting all of the events using all of the organizations Social Media Outlets – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram ect. The intern will be looked upon to help the organization improve its amount of likes and followers. The intern will work directly with management to create an effective social media strategy.
The intern must be able to travel to Waterbury, CT. However, some work can be completed on an independent basis

RequirementsMust be a current college student looking to earn college credit for successful completion of internship.
Advanced knowledge of Marketing, Social Media, Sports, and basic business concepts.
Positive attitude, high energy, and passion to get experience in the sports industry
Being a current Student-Athletes or having knowledge of the college recruiting process is a plus
Must possess strong communication skills. The intern will be closely working with management to help boost camp enrollment. This involves communication with management as well as potential customers. Face to Face.
The intern must be proficient with technology, and have a good understanding of Social Media, the internet, and data entry.
Must be able to efficiently type at an accurate and fast rate.
Strong creativity - The intern will effectively produce e-mails and social media posts to help attract more sign ups
