DescriptionSCL Footwear Group, LLC was re-established in 2009 as the premiere resource for work and safety footwear servicing the United States and Canada market. We are looking for a marketing candidate that can help assist on managing our social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Other responsibilities may be related to market research and identifying trends in the footwear market. Openings are available March 1, 2015-December 31, 2015. This is a nonpaid internship, however could lead to a possible full time job depending on results from candidate.
ResponsibilitiesEach day, the team will have a morning meeting with goals for that day or week. Intern is responsible for helping the Marketing Manager on any current projects. Intern must report to the Marketing Manager at the end of each day.
Requirements-Several marketing courses that include: social media, integrated marketing, advertising, public relations, market research
-Knowledge and experience with applications such as: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
-Marketing bachelor's degree
-Identify current trends in the footwear market
-Strong writing and communication skills
-Experience with blogging on Tumblr
