Internship Program:
MEA Consultants Internship Program provides upper level undergraduate and graduate level students the opportunity to learn about international business involving the small business and non profit sectors while gaining hands on experience. Interns develop professionally and personally as they contribute to our mission: identify, solicit, collect, and deliver products and services into the African market in accordance to the needs of the market. MEA Consultants Internship Program is a professional opportunity requiring a high level of commitment.

Internships are tailored to each interns skills and abilities as well as area of interest as well as the needs of MEA Consultants. Our unique internship program allows participants to grow and develop professionally.
We currently have openings in the following areas for interns.
-Corporate Development
-Marketing & Communications

Who can apply?
Undergraduate students with junior or senior status or graduate students at any level who are committed to completing at least three months are encouraged to apply for our internship program. We also accept applications from non-students and working professionals who are looking to gain work experience in the field of international business. We can only accommodate applications from within the United States.

We accept interns year round with various start dates throughout the year. Interns are expected to commit between 15-20 hours per week. Work schedules are determined by the intern. This is a remote internship which is great for students across the country. MEA Consultants offers unpaid internships. Interns participating in our internship program receive substantial work experience which is great for building a resume and gaining needed experience.

Responsibilities

Researching small businesses and non profits to learn more about their operations
Professionally contact organizations and speak with responsible parties
Keep detailed notes and update management regularly
Take part in international negotiations

Requirements

Solid Work Ethic
Extensive Research Skills (internet capabilities)
Microsoft Office Experience
Google Docs Experience
Professional Voice and Demeanor on the Phone
Strong Organization Skills
