In order to nurture and engage our Start user community, we are looking for a passionate marketing communications intern. If you are a senior or a recent grad and excited about customers, content, marketing, communications, and a fast paced global environment, we have a great opportunity for you.
Work closely with Vice President of Marketing and other marketing team members to drive all consumer communications across different channels such as Email, Web, Mobile and Social media.
Work on a variety of initiatives focused on engaged audience growth, advocacy, and social media content.
Develop content, messaging and copy for consumer experiences - within Android application(s), email, website, mobile, and social media.
Create content as required for various forms of communications including press releases
Actively manage and interact with social audiences on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media networks such as Snapchat.
Collaborate with PR team to acquire PR opportunities for bylines, speaking opportunities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and distribute compelling visual content on consumer web channels such as Buzzfeed.
Must be a senior or recent grad for a bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
Prior internship experience in similar field
Power user of Android smart phones and keen interest in consumer mobile apps
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Copy writing/editing skills to develop copy for millennials in the USA
Self-starter, driven, able to work independently with minimal direction
Comfortable in working with remote teams in different timezones
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines
Understanding of graphics and visual arts
Understand marketing technologies and concepts
