Description

The Polka Dot Mama Melanoma Foundation is a brand new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds research, raises awareness and educates the community about melanoma — the deadliest form of skin cancer. Learn more about the foundation and its prestigious board of directors at polkadotmama.org. This little nonprofit is off to a big start hosting the Taste for a Cure Gala in May of next year, which already has some big names attached to it, including Duke, Deloitte, Cisco and many more. Join our team and work from anywhere, anytime – all while contributing to an amazing cause.

Responsibilities

 EMAIL MARKETING

o Creating campaigns that engage supporters and drive donations

o Sending emails to current and prospective supporters

 BLOGGING

o Improve our existing blog by creating interesting content and developing ideas

 SOCIAL MEDIA

o Edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and

that can improve audience engagement

encourages community members to take action

Requirements

Excellent, writing, editing and communication skills

 Preferably, experience with WordPress, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, Hootsuite and MailChimp

 Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

 Willingness to try new things and ask lots of questions

 Positive and altruistic attitude that is detail oriented

 Ability to manage time independently and meet clearly articulated work quota

 Fluency in English
