DescriptionThe Bazaar (www.bazaaa.com), is the sister eCommerce organization associated with The Asian Entrepreneur, a digital magazine. Our goal it to provide global exposure to entrepreneurs located in Asia. As such, the magazine interviews and publishes the journeys, successes, and even failures of interested entrepreneurs and the associated bazaar sells their products. However, we are not the typical eCommerce website. We DO NOT function as a one-stop shop. Our unique selling proposition leverages the stories of the entrepreneurs to sell the product. We are currently in an expansion phase and looking to partner with interns to create a win-win situation and take the bazaar to the next level of success.
Reporting to the Co-Founder and Operations Head, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible connecting with people/organization from a list of entrepreneurs compiled by the Business Research Coordinator and developing a method for both organizations to work together in a mutually beneficial relationship. This position will also be responsible for maintaining/managing all communication with external organizations.
• Research contact info of perspective client organizations
• Manage communication both internal and external
• Develop a method to allow both organizations to work together in an mutually agreeable manner
• Other business tasks as assigned
An in progress or completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field. Must possess a strong interest for a career in business management. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines.
Special Position Requirements
Must have access to a computer, Internet, and telephone. Must be able to commit 10-15 hours every week.
