Description

Charlie's Umbrella, LLC is a brand new start up company in Washington, DC that designs board games to teach young people about politics and civics. Our goal is to encourage the newer generations of leaders and activists by providing them with experiences through gaming that give context to the United State's political landscape. We are a very hands off company that has very supportive management and encourages an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
Internship opportunities are available for students in the areas of marketing, photography, and sales. Interns will work with our CEO and contractors.Internship program will last approximately four and a half months ending after the Presidential Inauguration in January.

Responsibilities

Marketing intern will help to create marketing campaigns for Election Day: The Game on social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and Snapchat. Intern must be familiar with all platforms, related apps, and should have some industry experience or knowledge.

Intern will bring ideas every monday to the team, ideas will be vetted and perfected throughout the week to be executed the following week. Utilizing story board techniques and access to apps and other accessories.

Requirements

The intern would be involved in all aspects of our work including, but not limited to:

Marketing & Branding Intern:
Must be able to develop marketing program/strategies for the companies inaugural board game through the website and . Interns will create vision boards or potential shoots/Campaigns and if selected for an interview candidates must have ideas that they would like to see put in motion. This position will require attending a minimum of four events as well as any photo or video shoots. Familiarity with social networking sites strongly desired.
