Description

Role:
The GnarlyFoot Marketing Intern will play an integral part in GnarlyFoot’s inbound marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong interest in surfing, skateboarding, and/or snowboarding. Candidates should have strong writing and research ability. Experience in journalism, blogging, graphic design, social media, and video editing is a plus. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for developing content and managing content distribution across social media channels. We are searching for an intern that is able to work remotely. This should be a fun internship that will allow the intern to build a portfolio by creating content, graphic design, and marketing material. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about Google Analytics and social media monitoring.

This is an unpaid internship, but GnarlyFoot will work with students to help them receive credit hours for this internship from their University or College.

We launched our lifestyle and clothing retailer in 2016. We are a growing team of enthusiastic professionals passionate about surfing, skating, and snowboarding.

What We Do:
GnarlyFoot is a forum that celebrates surfing, skating, and snowboarding. The website provides trending information and educational information for customers. GnarlyFoot is also seeking to establish relationships with nonprofits in the surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding space.

Responsibilities

Time Commitment and Responsibilities

Minimum Responsibilities:
*Submit blog posts and/or video blogs twice a month
*Research educational information for surfers, snowboarders, and skaters
*Submit photography of skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding
*Attend an online Google Hangout once a month to stay up to date with assignments
*Participate in social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
*Identify strategic opportunities to promote and build the GnarlyFoot Brand

Requirements

Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University

Should be passionate about surfing, skateboarding, or snowboarding

Will need to have access to a camera (cell phone, tablet, or other)

Access to a computer
