Description

Machine Tool Bids is seeking a bright, creative individual who can help fast track the marketing efforts of a fast growing company to a global client base. This internship position will help drive market presence and development.

Tasks will include lead generation through a leading marketing automation software, customer acquisition and retention, e-campaigns, social media, blog writing, surveys and website maintenance. Limited administrative tasks may be required. This is a great opportunity for current students or recent graduates looking to gain marketing experience in a role focused on modern digital marketing strategy and trends.

Learning objectives are: To gain marketing communications and management skills, including branding, social media, marketing and business development that align with company objectives. To gain leadership skills, as this position will research, recommend and execute tasks that will develop and grow new business divisions, with a strong focus on U.S., Canada and Mexico markets. To manage projects, as this position will involve the development of marketing strategies and campaigns, including advertising, social media and customer communications under the guidance of the director of marketing, with a strong focus on marketing automation. Administrative work will be limited to 25 percent, and may involve tasks related to company and third-party websites, CRM system assignments, and marketing-related follow-ups.

PLEASE NOTE: This internship position is intended to teach and train for current marketing strategies and tactics.Transportation reimbursement will be provided* . Easy public transportation access via Green Line, Pink Line and Ashland 9 Bus.

Requirements

- Enrolled as a current Marketing or Communications undergraduate program student
-Basic knowledge of HTML- Basic familiarity with keyword research tools, e.g., Google AdWords
- Excellent written and verbal skills- Basic knowledge of either Google Analytics
- Experience with social media channels is a plus- Ability to work independently
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
